PhysiCore trainers are committed to providing the most professional and comprehensive training programs. To that end, we have obtained our certifications from some of the most rigorous and exclusive training programs available.

STOTT Pilates:
STOTT PILATES incorporates modern exercise principles, including contemporary thinking about spinal rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. For example, some approaches may promote a flat back, whereas STOTT PILATES exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and re-balance the muscles around the joints, placing more emphasis on scapular stabilization. As well, there are more preparatory exercises and modifications to cater to many different body types and abilities, making it applicable to everyday life.

American Council on Exercise:
The American Council on Exercise's Personal Trainer Certification is designed for fitness trainers providing one-on-one or small-group fitness instruction.

The ACE Personal Trainer Certification is continually evaluated and updated to ensure that it includes the most current research in exercise science and keeps today's fitness professionals ahead of the competition. Upon successful completion of the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam, our staff demonstrated knowledge of risk factor screening, fitness assessment, nutrition, exercise science, exercise programming and appropriate progressions, instructional and spotting techniques, lifestyle modification and professional scope of practice.

about Jessica

When Jessica G. Ramsey left the field of oncology clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry and focused on her fitness career, it immediately became a passion. After working in fitness since 1991, Jessica couldn't be more excited to open her own Personal Training and Pilates studio. PhysiCore now offers the Delaware's largest and most convenient STOTT certified Pilates Studios with two locations! And in keeping with our tradition, it's only ONE trainer at a time, so even when size matters, you get the privacy you deserve.

Jessica applies her degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Delaware as a foundation for her holistic training approach. Combined with her Personal Training and Pilates education, she has become a trainer who not only describes the exercises you perform, but also why you do them, why they are suited to you and which muscles you should feel when they are performed correctly. More importantly, you will know when you are not doing the move correctly. You might have experienced other trainers who don't even watch you. Tsk. Tsk.

Using Pilates, weight training, general nutrition counseling, and discussion of daily habits, Jessica will help you realize your body’s potential. She can assist you in building confidence and strength that will carry over into your daily activities. A healthy body through exercise and a healthy lifestyle is only the beginning. Call today to achieve fitness … from the inside, out.

about Dani

Dani Hadley has been actively practicing Pilates for 10 years. Her extensive training and certification in STOTT Pilates complements her belief that anyone can have improved posture and flexibility, a strong “core” (back and abdominals), heightened mind-body awareness, and improved overall strength. She uses the full repertoire of equipment including mat, reformer, chairs, towers and barrels to create complete, well-balanced workouts for her clients.

In her spare time, Dani enjoys cooking and learning about the nutrition behind it. She is an avid reader and likes to spend time outdoors with her daughter, Lydia, and husband, Brian, who plays the guitar.

Dani’s passion for fitness carries over into her family, especially her mother, who has been practicing Pilates for 7 years (after her daughter’s encouragement) and works out daily. Mom says it’s one of the things that keep her symptoms of scoliosis under control.

Dani’s fitness philosophy - “Take care of your body and it will take care of you!”
