When Jessica G. Ramsey left the field of oncology clinical research
in the pharmaceutical industry and focused on her fitness career,
it immediately became a passion. After working in fitness since
1991, Jessica couldn't be more excited to open her own Personal
Training and Pilates studio. PhysiCore now offers the Delaware's
largest and most convenient STOTT certified Pilates Studios with
two locations! And in keeping with our tradition, it's only ONE
trainer at a time, so even when size matters, you get the privacy
you deserve.
Jessica applies her degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University
of Delaware as a foundation for her holistic training
approach. Combined with her Personal Training and Pilates education,
she has become a trainer who not only describes the exercises you
perform, but also why you do them, why they are suited to you and
which muscles you should feel when they are performed correctly.
More importantly, you will know when you are not doing the move
correctly. You might have experienced other trainers who don't even
watch you. Tsk. Tsk.
Using Pilates, weight training, general nutrition counseling,
and discussion of daily habits, Jessica will help you realize
your bodys potential. She can assist you in building confidence
and strength that will carry over into your daily activities.
A healthy body through exercise and a healthy lifestyle is only
the beginning. Call today to achieve fitness
from the inside,
out.
April S. Riordans
fitness career started as a natural progression from her dance background
as an instructor in high school and college. It surfaced as a great
way to keep up her fitness regimen while working full-time as a
marketing representative for financial and investment products.
In 1999, April received her certification in Group Fitness and Mat
Pilates with the Jefferson Health System ~ Northeast Philadelphia
Campus. In addition, April is STOTT Pilates trained in Matwork,
Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels.
In 2004, April developed a wellness program, entitled Wellness
At Work, for a corporate center in Wilmington. This program
allowed employees to use their lunch hour to participate in group
fitness classes and various wellness programs.
Passionate about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and a
sound well-being, her teaching style combines physical and mental
exercise techniques to revitalize the mind, body and spirit.
Dani Hadley has been
actively practicing Pilates for 10 years. Her extensive training
and certification in STOTT Pilates complements her belief that anyone
can have improved posture and flexibility, a strong core
(back and abdominals), heightened mind-body awareness, and improved
overall strength. She uses the full repertoire of equipment including
mat, reformer, chairs, towers and barrels to create complete, well-balanced
workouts for her clients.
In her spare time, Dani enjoys cooking and learning about the nutrition
behind it. She is an avid reader and likes to spend time outdoors
with her daughter, Lydia, and husband, Brian, who plays the guitar.
Danis passion for fitness carries over into her family, especially
her mother, who has been practicing Pilates for 7 years (after her
daughters encouragement) and works out daily. Mom says its
one of the things that keep her symptoms of scoliosis under control.
Danis fitness philosophy - Take care of your body and
it will take care of you!
After receiving her
BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and working in the pharmaceutical
industry years, Beth Engler chose to stay home with her family.
The field of fitness became the perfect compliment to her healthy
lifestyle as well as her busy schedule. Beth began teaching group
exercise in 2006 and became one of Delawares first STOTT Pilates
Certified instructors.
She successfully juggles training with her role as the President
of the Henry B. du Pont Middle School PTA as well as riding the
MS 150 Bike to the Bay with her husband, Brian, and braving the
local walking trails with her two dogs.
Beth has a friendly teaching style that masks her ability to provide
a challenging Pilates program. She applies her knowledge of anatomy
and biomechanics as well as training and experience for safe, effective
sessions to her clients.
